CFM Rigging Services is Atlantic Canada's premier rigging shop, offering the finest selection of rigging products from the world's leading manufacturers. CFM Rigging Services manufactures wire rope chain shackles, wire rope and chain fittings, all types of wire rope slings, nylon and polyester slings as well as (exclusively) the world's first ergonomic sling, the 'Twin-Path' high performance fibre sling. All slings manufactured are proof tested and certificates issued.

Gilco Bearings & Supply provides a complete line of industrial and automotive bearings, belt, chain and gear drives, shaft couplings, clutches, brakes and other mechanical power transmission equipment, fluid sealing and environmental spill products. Gilco offers both technical and commercial solutions to its customers in the Atlantic Provinces.
L&A Electric
L&A Electric is an electric motor/generator repair and service facility located in Truro, Nova Scotia. Services include CSA certification for explosion-proof motor repair, field service, vibration analysis, marine service and stocking distributorships for major motor manufacturers. Also offered are redesigns for modification of speed, horsepower and voltage.
Mobile Valve and N.L. Eldridge
Mobile Valve and N.L. Eldridge combine to provide the most comprehensive source for valve solutions and service in Atlantic Canada. Included is the capability to perform in-house or on-site repair, service and testing of pressure relief valves, actuated and manually operated isolation valves, and control valves per ASME "V", "UV" and NB "VR" certifications. Complete valve actuation capability is also available. This service capability is complemented by a strong technical support group, offering a full range of valves and associated products for pressure relief, steam conditioning, isolation, control and other process-related applications.

Thornes has also participated in major projects such as oil refinery upgrades, the Canadian Patrol Frigate program, and pulp and paper mill environmental improvement programs. Thornes is a member of the industrial IDI and electrical IED and plumbing "Canaplus" buying and marketing groups, and is headquartered at a 180,000 sq. ft. distribution centre in Saint John, New Brunswick.
